DLR published WISDOM Prototype

The first prototype of the WISDOM Information System has been published to the Internet. The so called "Prototype-DE" is designed to be the exchange platform of all spatial data, research findings, etc. of the WISDOM project. It stores more than 400 spatial datasets, 500.000 hydrological sensor measurements, around 400 statistical measures for administrative units, and around 250 governmental-, research- and private organisations working in the water sector in the Mekong Delta. The "Prototype-DE" provides functionality for automatically generating value added information as e.g. maps or statistical reports.

WISDOM "Protoype-DE" published

The first prototype of the WISDOM Information System has been published to the Internet. You can direct access the system via the
WISDOM homepage: Resources/Prototype DE or you can follow this link.

This functionality comprises amongst others:

  • Search for spatial datasets and products using semantic queries
  • Interactive mapping of retrieved datasets
  • Exploration of hydrological sensor measurements in the Mekong Delta
  • Interactive generation of thematic maps
  • Access to statistical reports on Landcover change and Flood situations
  • Search for organisations in the yellow pages
